JANOWSKI SEALS SPIRES RETURN

JANOWSKI SEALS SPIRES RETURN

Multi-time FIM Speedway World Cup winner Maciej Janowski is back for a second straight season with British club Oxford Spires.

The Polish champion previously appeared in the UK with the Poole Pirates, helping them to three straight Elite League titles from 2013 to 2015.

The Spires tempted him into a UK comeback for 2024 and he returns to Cowley in 2025, joining forces with Australian champion Rohan Tungate, former British champion Charles Wright, German international Erik Riss and rising star Luke Killeen.

Oxford boss Peter Schroeck said:

“We feel privileged to have a rider of his calibre represent our club. He is a great guy to work with and I am sure that he will hit the ground running from the off in 2025. We are really pleased to have Magic back for his second stint with the club.”

Janowski will also compete for hometown team Wroclaw in Poland’s PGE Ekstraliga.
