Great Britain racer Dan Bewley and Polish star Dominik Kubera have both officially withdrawn from the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester double-header on June 5 and 6.
Belle Vue hero Bewley misses his home event after suffering a broken femur and a compressed vertebrae in his back during the opening heat of Danish club Region Varde’s home clash with Slangerup in Outrup on May 20.
Meanwhile, Kubera sits out after suffering injuries when he crashed out of his opening ride in Swedish club Lejonen’s trip to Motala on Tuesday.
Bewley is replaced by Speedway GP first substitute star Anders Thomsen of Denmark, while Czech champion Jan Kvech steps in for Kubera in his role as second SGP substitute.
We wish both riders a speedy recovery.
