LINDGREN REPLACED BY THOMSEN FOR SPEEDWAY GP OF POLAND 2026

news FIM SGP

Swedish star Fredrik Lindgren has officially withdrawn from the FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Lodz on Saturday, August 1.

The world No.4 continues his recovery from the ankle injury he suffered while racing for Polish club Lublin at Leszno on May 17. He has now missed five of this season’s six Speedway GP rounds.

His absence hands an opportunity to BST FIM Speedway GP of Sweden – Malilla winner Anders Thomsen to step in as first substitute as he bids to close on the top-seven automatic qualification places. He is just five points short of Jack Holder, who currently occupies seventh spot.

We wish Fredrik a speedy recovery.
